Creativity is both the ability to create something and ability to think and act “outside the box” and do things in a new way. It therefore requires independent thinking to find unusual solutions and experimenting with new approaches.
Creativity is usually associated with the right side of the brain which is responsible for imagination and intuition, for example. However, creativity can also be enhanced through engaging the left side of the brain with exercises in logic or pattern recognition.
